The author portrays this through Stanley’s family who wrote to Santa for their Christmas wish list. The big idea of the story is to be selfless and generous, which is a great lesson for children. Lastly, I liked the message of this story. The author also added some humor with the character, Sarah because she is ditsy and oblivious. The story continues the journey of the Lambchop family trying to save Christmas. The problem of the story was clearly stated in the beginning of the book. ![]() Stanley Lambchop, the main character, must go to the North Pole with Sarah Christmas to save the holiday. Second, I liked the storyline because it was a journey-return plot. For example, Sarah Christmas’ father is Santa Claus. ![]() I liked how the author used characters young children are familiar with. I liked this modern fantasy chapter book for several reasons. ![]()
